At the Clothing Bank, we certainly didn’t rest during the holidays. Over the summer, we donated more than 5 tons of clothing and other material aid to those in need. Alongside this, in August, we distributed school supplies to children of single parents.
Thousands of Crisis Packages Since the beginning of the year, our “aid weight” has exceeded 25 tons. In terms of crisis packages for people in need, this means a total of 6,252. We distribute aid to the most vulnerable primarily through collaborating organizations across the country, and we also send help to people who reach out to us directly.
You Help Us Help This large volume of aid would not be possible without our donors. We thank everyone who stops by with discarded clothing or sends it for free via Zásilkovna. What Awaits Us in the Fall After summer, everyone usually switches from summer clothes to warmer ones, marking the time for autumn clothing drives, especially the large ones held in companies among employees. We always look forward to the bags full of clothing from these drives, which are always filled with beautiful items. We will sort, pack, and gradually turn them into thousands more crisis packages for people in need.
