After several months of preparations, the partner Clothing Bank in Slovakia opened this week, specifically in Bratislava on Z Street. Chalupova 8.
Initially, the Slovak branch will direct its material assistance in the form of clothing to single-parent families in need. And the numbers speak for themselves. In just 10 days of operation, nearly three hundred parcels of clothing have been distributed to more than a hundred families of solo parents with children.
And as always, the help of partners is absolutely elementary, including Slovak Parcel Service in Slovakia, which delivers clothing packages directly to the homes of the applicants, which is a very beneficial help.
However, the Slovak Clothing Bank project is not only about clothes, but also about people who find themselves in a difficult life situation and have objective reasons to find employment. That is why our colleagues in Slovakia have decided to help in this area as well and have created jobs in the Clothing Bank just for single parents.
