February at the Clothing Bank: Nearly 3 Tons of Aid

6. 3. 2024

In the shortest month of the year, we distributed almost 3 tons of clothing and other material assistance to those who need it most. Specifically, 2,920 kg of clothing found new owners.

Shortage of Clothing In February, the Clothing Bank faced challenges due to a shortage of donors. We are incredibly pleased that despite this, we managed to donate almost 3 tons of crisis packages. In addition to clothing, we also sent dozens of packages of menstrual products for single mothers and their daughters. This initiative was made possible through collaboration with Rohlík.cz, which helped us secure these essential products for those in difficult situations. This step is a testament to our efforts to provide comprehensive support to people in need.

Get Involved A large part of the work was once again carried out by volunteers from Amazon and Česká spořitelna. They spent countless hours checking, sorting, and packing donated clothing. Their dedication and commitment are a great example of how everyone can help.

Despite the challenges we faced in the past month, it is important to remember that the need for help does not end. Many people across the Czech Republic still need your support. Your donated clothing can make a huge difference in their lives. Now, more than ever, we need your help. Join us and donate the clothing you no longer need. Helping together makes sense. You can send your discarded clothing to us for free from any Zásilkovna branch; just report the code for free shipping: 98716876.

Thank You Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all donors of material assistance, both individuals and corporate partners: KPMG, EY, Allen & Overy, Husky, Rohlík, Potex, Naše Maso, and Ambiente. For financial support, we thank our general partner JTI. It is only thanks to your generosity and support that we can continue our work and expand the number of people we can help together.
