The first quarter of 2025 was marked by unprecedented solidarity and support from private and corporate donors. Thanks to their generosity, we managed to collect an incredible 21 tons of clothing, which represents a significant milestone in our activities. March in particular was particularly successful, when we received an impressive 10 tonnes of clothing after a slump in February.
During this period, we established partnerships with several new organisations that have become key partners in our aid distribution chain. These include CSS Příbram, Open Door Knížkovice and the Salvation Army. At the same time, we have strengthened our cooperation with Handicap Centre Srdce and PN Bohnice, with whom we have been working for a long time.
We helped individual applicants with almost a hundred packages of clothes, which went mainly to single parents across the Czech Republic. A big thank you also goes to the volunteers from IKEA Czech Republic and Amazon for their invaluable help and support.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all those who support us and believe in the purpose of our work. Special thanks to our key partners: JTI, POTEX, NESTLE CZ SK, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, ELTON watchmaking, AMUNDI, KVADRANT, ENGEL & VOLKERS, IPSOS, HUSKY, KUP SI VOHOZ, NOVÁ TROJKA, the Prague 10 municipality and Ambiente. Their financial and material support is indispensable for us.
In the coming period, we will face many new challenges and projects. We are planning several events where you will be able to meet the Clothing Bank in different districts of the capital. We have a lot of work ahead of us, new and existing partnerships. We are confident that with your support we will do everything as successfully as we have done so far. We wish that our work will continue to help as many people in difficult life situations as possible and that all people of good will will remain loyal to us.
