Twenty Tons of Material Aid in the First Half of the Year

Thanks to generous donors, volunteer help, a distribution network of collaborating organizations, and direct distribution, we managed to distribute over 20 tons of material aid to those in greatest need in the first half of this year.

Aid for 5,040 People in Need Our collaboration with a network of selected Food Banks and other non-profit organizations across the country allowed us to deliver aid to every corner of our nation. These 20 tons of aid meant that we were able to sort and inspect every single piece from tens of tons of donated clothing and create and distribute 5,040 crisis packages. These packages often included not only clothing but also other essential items that we had available from our partners at the time.

Not Just Clothing Thanks to a wonderful donation for single-parent families from Panzani, we were able to deliver 3 kg of pasta to selected single-parent families last month. This means that single parents and their children have the assurance of food for several weeks. For parents of young children, we received a supply of high-quality bamboo eco-diapers from MonPeri. Each child was thus equipped with 4 packs of diapers, which saves roughly a thousand crowns in a tight family budget.

“Thank you very much for everything you do for us! Today I picked up the clothes that were for me. Also, pasta, coffee, and wet wipes. Thank you so much for helping us; the clothes and the hoodie are just perfect,” wrote Mrs. Eva in response to the received material aid packages.

Volunteers Always Welcome Volunteer help with sorting clothes and preparing packages is absolutely indispensable for us. We are very grateful to companies like Amazon and Česká spořitelna, who send their employees to help us every month. In June, employees from Lagardere Travel Retail Czech Republic also lent a helping hand. Thank you for the great help.
